We're going to do a double feature here today with two of our wonderful guests. Let's start with Tommy Piggott, who was, who is, a spokesperson for the State Department. We talked a lot about a lot of different things, including Marco Rubio's sleeping habits. I just want to make sure the guy sticks around for a long time. You can't survive with two hours of sleep like President Trump. Only President Trump can sleep for two hours and be high functioning. So we talked to him and then we talked to Randy Clark about a lot of border different things, including the shakeup at the top of ice and why that's good, potentially good, why that was done among things on the ground. Help us, help me get a better perspective of what it's like to be on the ground when you are these ice guys.

Yeah, great talk to you.

1:37.3

A lot of specific questions, of course.

1:39.3

But first big picture question.

1:41.3

Tell me about the culture of the State Department right now.

1:46.3

And my concern is how do you get everyone on board with the same mission?

1:51.3

That State Department's been there for a long time, and it hasn't looked like it does now.

1:54.4

Or like, right, like with the guys leading it, it's very different than what it used to be.

1:58.0

So how do you get everyone on board?

2:01.0

Well, look, part of this was the reforms we took from the very beginning of this administration.

2:05.1

I mean, we had a State Department, as you mentioned, been here for a very long time

2:08.4

that could have all these different offices where one office could be doing something that is

2:13.2

contrary to what another office was doing, but also contrary to the policy of the duly elected

2:18.7

president of the United States. And no matter what your background is, that should not be happening.
