the pilot from Iran that crashed down. It's incredible story. Cannot spend enough time on this.

Actually, the president understands giving a speech today. Yeah, president giving a speech.

Obviously, he's going to be talking about this rescue operation. It's just remarkable in every

way. So we did a little bit of celebration in the first hour, and then we brought in

John Hayward to go a little deeper, give us more details on what's next.

And then after that, we'll play our interview with John Phillips from KABC and L.A.

to talk about the Anti-Fraud Task Force.

And then also the state of the governor's race there

and the state of Gavin Newsom running for president.

Let's start with John Hayward.

Doing well. How are you today?

Fantastic. And worth taking time to celebrate the rescue operation of

our two airmen, as the president was sure to do over the weekend as well. But go back a little bit.

What even happened? How did this plane get attacked and shot out of the sky in the first place?

Well, it was in NF15, one of the older planes in the U.S. inventory. It apparently got hit by anti-aircraft fire at some point during a bombing run.
