Hello and welcome to the Thursday June 27th 2019 edition of Tesla Daily on

0:11.9

official Tesla podcast.

0:13.2

My name is Rob Maower, really not a whole lot of Tesla news today,

0:16.2

so we'll keep this brief, just a couple other pieces of news I wanted to discuss.

0:19.9

Tesla stock on the day today did rally a bit into market close finishing the day up 1.63% to

0:26.0

222.84 cents as compared to the NASDAQ up 0.73%.

0:31.8

Two quick pieces of Tesla news. The first is local to me in Wisconsin.

0:35.0

1:06.1

However, by no means is this finalized yet.

1:08.4

The budget will now go to Governor Tony Evers desk.

1:11.2

Once he receives the final paperwork for the budget, which I don't believe has happened yet, he'll have six days, not counting Sundays, to act on it. That could mean passing the budget in its entirety. Could also mean vetoing the budget in its entirety or pretty much anywhere in between

1:24.0

due to the partial veto power afforded to the governor of Wisconsin.

1:28.0

Paraphrasing from Wisconsin's partial veto power is uniquely powerful. That is because unlike other states, quote,

1:35.8

governors in Wisconsin can strike nearly any part of a budget bill, including sentences,

1:40.5

words, or in some cases even a single character or digit."

1:44.3

Definitely still a developing story, one I'll be watching closely.
