So not a lot happening in Ranger news this week, to be honest.

There was rumors that the Wilde were interested in Derek Step on.

They had an offer on the table last year.

I believe it was Nashville for Johansson.

And they wanted to send Jonas Broan, as I believe his name.

He's a Swedish kid.

I'm sure it's something like Brodine just because you always put your names.

That's true. It's probably Brodine.

But I'm going to call him Jonas Broden for now, and I'll get corrected tomorrow.

But he was the number 10th pick in 2011, and he seems to be a... He's defined here as, we'll graduate as a prospect of the future.

Broden's very mobile defender who is an excellent skater and a decent passer.

His average offensive instincts hold him back from being an elite package, but he's

developing very quickly.

This year, for the wild, he played in 68 games, and he has a minus five plus minus

rating.

Well, I think the most important part of that entire spiel you had there is he's a 22-year-old

defensive prospect that was once a top 10 traffic.
