This is what it sounded like on the blues radio network as the final seconds tick down.

It's over the game is over the series is over the way it is over and the St. Louis Blues are the Stanley Cup champions for the first time in franchise history.

So the Blues get it done thanks to rookie goalie Jordan Bennington just playing a lights out game seven road victory performance.

I mean he was phenomenal and I'm not a hockey guy.

I'm not Mr. expert, but I do know some of the saves he made were flat out extraordinary.

The road teams had a tremendous amount of success in this series the blues went one and two at home the Boston Bruins went one and three at home and a wild zany crazy ending to the to the postseason in hockey officially came to a close with a few F bombs which I believe we have lined up.

So St. Louis a big win for the city of St. Louis in particular because the St. Louis Rams left town and so you now have the ability to celebrate still with the St. Louis Cardinals obviously having an impact.
