Now we spent a lot of time over the last couple of shows having a go at

Chelsea saying they pretty much didn't have much of a chance against Aston Villa

so inevitably they would go to Villa Park and put in arguably their best

performance of the season beating Asin Villa convincingly by three

goals to one to book a place in the next round of the FA Cup.

But I don't know. Because they were really good.

They were really good, villa were really bad and I think the combination just made it

a such an easy night in the end for Chelsea, which was completely unexpected because everything

they've done this season pretty much has been hard work.

Off the back of a, you know, losing four goes to wolves at the weekend at home, the bad defending, the poor

attacking play, Villa not been as good recently, but just come off the back of five-nill against Sheffield United.

They've only lost once at home, that was Newcastle, you thought, right,

this is Villa going to pick up the bat and again, second half of the season,

put their foot down.

No, they were terrible. Chelsea played some great stuff and Fernandez in particular in the middle of the park got the run of Villa Park and you know this is a great shot in the arm for a protein off the back of some really bad
