This day, when you couple the football performances with this

Yankee performance, this day, October 5, 2025 will be remembered as one of the worst sports

days anybody can ever remember. Now, I was not surprised that the yankees lost yesterday i told you that

yesterday i still thought this series weighed for them leaned in their favor because of the pitching

matchups i did not expect what I saw today.

First of all, why would you think Freed would have absolutely nothing?

I mean, he has been very good since that one slump he had.

Once he got past that, he put together seven or eight terrific starts in a row where he was

pitching to like a 1.3 already. So you wouldn't have expected a day, even against a team that makes

the contact that Toronto does. Toronto doesn't usually exhibit the power they did today.

Forget what happened after Freed left the game.

Don't worry about the pyrotechnics.

Don't worry about the Grand Slammer.

Don't worry about the home runs.

Don't worry about the overall numbers.

They are meaningless.

Just as meaningless are those at bats the Yankees had.

I don't think they mean anything.
