We are back for a blowout on the beach.

We are back to talk about Surf's Up the season four Girls Next Door finale.

Still can't believe it's the finale. I know. Before we get into the second half, too,

I do want to just tell everybody, I got the chance to listen to the first half that we recorded

before today. And I had a couple of notes I wanted to add to it. First of all, when I talk

about how surprised Brian was that I wanted to do a beach party, I think thinking back on it now and listening back on all this, I think one of his, the reason why he was so shocked is Heph going to the beach. Right. Like, HF is it not so much that I wanted to do a party on the beach. That's not so weird. But Heff is going to go to the beach.

What?

Right.

Because that just is so, even me thinking about it now, I'm like, wow, Heph was really on the beach with us. That's crazy. Fish out of water. And then I also kind of wanted to say, too, that this crush that I had on Kelly Slater, it was sort of like one of those crushes where I, it wasn't like I thought it was going to go somewhere.

It wasn't like I was like going to leave half if like things went well here or anything like that. It's just, I think it's just healthy that since I can't date that I'm like have little crush. It's like my George Clooney crush kind of. kind of. Kind of. Yeah. It was just sort of like, oh, I think he's cute. And yes, I still have feelings for people, even though like I'm not technically allowed to date. You know, that's totally relatable because that's how it was with like me and Chris Angel, which hasn't happened on our timeline yet, but will soon. And I think a lot of people look at things like if I have his merch or whatever on the show, they're like, oh, they were already together. And it wasn't like that at all. I thought he was super cute, totally had a crush, but never in a million years, like, thought anything would happen. Yeah. Until it did. Yeah. That's what I felt about this too and it was just sort of like a fun thing. Yeah. But I did make it all known to everybody that, oh, he's cute.

Yeah. But I did make it all known to everybody that, oh, he's cute. And I have a crush and everything. And I'm so excited to meet him and everything. And then also I sent it to you last night. But that shark footage I was telling you about. That looked terrifying because those sharks are huge.

They're massive.

And this guy that's doing this drone footage, these are, if you guys remember, I talked about it earlier, but there's these massive sharks off the coast of California.

And some of them are right off the Santa Monica Pier and right in, like, Malibu and everything.

A lot of them are in Ventura too.

And there's this guy who's been taking a drone out and like filming them. And these things are huge.

They show a guy with this big ass kayak and these sharks are like way bigger than the kayak.

And they're not, they're not biting people or anything. So it's a really interesting behavior and what they're doing and why.

And he also, he's got a lot of the shark researchers like taking notice of his footage because he's kind of uncovering new behaviors with the sharks.

Because they always thought that the sharks specifically, these are great whites, by the way, that the great whites would use their mouth to probe things and that's why people were getting accidentally bit because
