It's a sign that Liverpool fans have been waiting all summer long to here.

Tiago Alcantara is a Liverpool player.

He's officially joined on Friday after completing his move on a four year deal from buying Munich.

He flew into Meazaside on Friday morning for his medical, underwent his routine medical checks at a local hospital,

before signing on the dotted lines to become Liverpool's second signing of what has been a relatively quiet summer so far.

He joins on a 20 million deal with an additional 5 million add-ons.

Liverpool only open talks with Bio-Manic on Monday.

Obviously speculation has been rife for across the summer the two teams have been in discussions over a move but they only

picked up the phone on Monday after by May they clear that this was a situation that they wanted resolving before the abundance league a campaign begins tonight at home to Shulka.

The talks accelerated across the weekend quickly thrashed out and Tiago now joins Liverpool to become the 20 million-pound in field there.

From a Liverpool perspective it's viewed as a fantastic deal, a 29-year-old two-time

Champions League winner at the absolute peak of his powers.

Chairman's League final no less and he's joining for a relatively modest fee of
