Hello everybody and welcome along to the Liverpool Echo's Blood Red

podcast we are back with another live edition of the podcast and

Liverpool are also back in action this weekend too as the Reds take on Manchester

City in the early kickoff on Saturday.

I'm your host Patrick Smith and I'm sure I speak for all of you Liverpool fans and I say I'm

glad to see the back for almost three weeks of an international break.

We can now get talking about actual

matches on a podcast once again. Well alongside me to do that we are joined by

chief LFC writer from the Flecko Ian Doyle. Dooley, he looking forward to

returning to a stadium?

Not really, no. I was quite, I've just a week off, so I was quite actually with no football.

And it did mean that there was no Liverpool defeats for two and a half weeks, So all in all it's quite a positive little break.

Yeah, well I mean it's quite a nice welcome break

but I suppose it could be a pretty negative week or so.

It could be a very positive one.

All will be revealed over the course of the next 10 days.

How is your international break?

I work through it so mine was quite busy.
