I'm Matt Addison with Paul Gorse, David Lynch, Sean Bradbury alongside me this afternoon,

plenty of stuff we get stuck into. Jordan Henderson's contract, priorities with other new deals, the latest on transfers,

some preseason games being lined up at Hanfield. All of that is to come over the next half an hour or so

on what should be a jam-packed edition of the podcast.

Of course, I'll come to you first. Jordan Henderson's contractors kind of gone a little bit

under the radar up until today. He is inside the last couple of years of his deal but not sort of speculation to get stuck into.

First and foremost so what do you make of the situation that that seems to be unfolding?

Interesting one isn't it? The initial thoughts were a bit of a storm in a teacup and the initial piece which came up

this morning from the athletic I thought it was almost a typical thing where a lot of it was

taken off the context and next thing you know you see and Henderson linked to PSG

and athletic on Madrid and fan base are and a little bit of a meltdown and I thought that seems to be the situation here.

I was got two years left on a contract and probably not the type of character to ever agitate for a move or anything like that.

And so I initially thought that was the case and then you see a few other reports coming out from

journalists who were now for the fact that are really close to Jordan actually and

maybe this is you know a little bit more to it than perhaps I initially thought

And I don't for one second thing the Henderson's going to be leaving this

summer. She's got two years left on his contract and I think I mean I don't know

this to be true but just reading in between the lines possibly what I feel that this might be is Henderson's

got a say a couple years left on his contract and he might know or be reading reports of a whole host of other players in life new contracts.
