Liverpool winger, I'm joined by Liverpool reporter David Lynch

David I hope you're as big a fan ready of Harvey Elliot as I am he may well have

featured in preseason by the time people can listen to this podcast but how excited are you to see what

he can do for Yogan clock during this pre-season period? Yeah hugely I still think

there's an element of sort of in going under the radar in terms of I think there's some

Liverpool sports team and they're not really aware of what they've got on the hands here

I think he's he's an absolutely huge talent and so excited I think from the first first time I remember seeing him after he arrived from Fulham

he was playing for the under 23 years. And I remember just being blown away by just, it's just a

sheer quality really and I think you know he's

had that year out on loan as any now and more years to develop and I think you

know coming into this season this this is the big one now I think this is where he gets himself and

and around the first team and really sort of challenges for a spot obviously

we don't maybe expect him to be starting games regularly but there's there's going to

be playing opportunities for in there I think and that's just really exciting.

I think you know I think by the end of this season there'll be I think everyone will be aware of just how big a

talent he is. Yeah it's not long since he turned 18 as well. I think people kind of forget that. We've known about him for a little bit now, but yeah, 18 years old and to be doing that what he did in the championship is, is just incredible, isn't it? I mean, from what we've heard from him as well this

summer it doesn't sound like he's planning on going out on loan next season he
