Virgil Van Dyke today very early on extending his Liverpool contract?

Yeah, nothing that we didn't expect, wasn't it, given the extensive report that we've had over the summer of the

pool basically being keen to tie down their big names so long-term contracts so

we're very much part of our thinking.

And yeah, great news, isn't it?

You know, he's on board now until 2025.

He's still the world's best defender for me.

He's obviously had nine months out and he might feel as though he has to kind of prove himself on that score again.
