Bling Empire’s Andrew Gray steps Behind The Rope. Bling Empire is THE hottest show of the moment and we are LIVING for it. Andrew chats about how he got involved with Netflix’s break out 2021 hit show about a group of very wealthy, and we mean very very wealthy, Asian “friends” living in Los Angeles and what filming was like. Andrew is very forthcoming about his “role” as the shows “villain” (his words, not ours), when he knew he was going to be portrayed this way and how he feels about this edit. Speaking of his edit, we chat about the resulting public’s outcry about his on screen relationship with girlfriend Kelly Mi Li. Andrew opens up about having his behavior and relationship analyzed and called “toxic”, “abusive” and even that which should come with a “trigger warning” all across the world. A key crucial scene that led to much of this public disapproval came from the fateful Paris trip with Anna Shay. We discuss that trip, what was real versus non-real (imagine a reality show not being 100% real), and how Kelly and he reacted to this scene when watching it back together. 1:08.2	Currently in LA actually I just got back. I've been doing some training so I've got tested a couple of days ago so I can go train which felt really good because I finally feel back in my body.
1:21.2	I haven't felt like kind of zombie mode for a while.
1:25.2	What have you been doing just like I mean LA is like really boxing.
1:31.2	Oh, okay.
1:38.2	First it was kind of getting on the trails just getting outside going to the beach. That got me not in this after a while and then I was like you know there are no gems open.
1:45.2	There's nowhere to go to yoga and meditate things like that so.
1:49.2	I started doing some research and asking some friends you know if any really great people that you trust that professionals that you know get tested weekly they like I have a short list but you're some people.
2:02.2	Wow so that's good so you did that so that got you out I mean we have gyms open in New York still so I guess I mean they weren't but now they are so that's that's something.
2:14.2	Absolutely you got to stay stimulated you know seriously it's like if you don't leave your house at all I mean you have to at least go for a walk right.

2:33.2	Now are you from you're not from LA originally are you or or raising Sacramento came out here 2000 in when I come out here 2012 2013.

2:50.2	I'm a Cali kid I'm I'm indigenous to this land and I have a native roots here when we walk Indian from the Sierra Nevada's and my family still lives five miles away my mother does a health care and education for them so.
