0:15.7	of legacy and passing on a legacy to our children and parenting our children with our grandchildren

0:41.3	Stephen I've been friends for many many years. Steve has worn many hats in his 68 years pastor.
0:47.7	He's an author, a speaker, a stockbroker, or he wasn't a past life. And together
0:52.2	he and his wife, my friend Jane Claire Lambert created and published a curriculum five called Five
0:58.6	in a row. And this homeschool curriculum has been a homeschool mainstay for nearly 25 years. The
1:04.0	Lambert's began homeschooling their children in 1981. And today their seven grandchildren are
1:10.4	being homeschooled as well and ranging age from 18 months to 18 years. Steve has been a blessing in
1:15.6	my life and in the lives of my seven children and my husband for many years. And I'm just thrilled to

1:25.9	Heidi it's great to be with you again. So you and I have a long history of talking about
1:31.7	pretty much every conversation, every topic under the sun. But one of the things lately that has
1:36.8	been on my heart and I know that it's been on your heart is this idea of legacy and passing on to
1:44.4	our children, a godly legacy. And we had a conversation some time ago about the things that quiet
1:51.9	are witness, things that sort of keep us from walking and right relationship with God. And they
1:56.1	end up messing it up. And this legacy that we wanted to have for our children is is well I don't
2:01.5	want to say stolen from us because it's not stolen. We literally forfeit it, you know, like a Esau giving
2:06.8	up his birthright. We give up our birthright through hidden sin and things that we keep allowing
