0:10.2	Christmastime edition. I just wanted to pop on here and really honor the fact that we get to think
0:19.4	well and deeply and ponder the beauty of light coming into darkness,
0:26.6	not in a super spiritual, far-off, distant, cosmic place, but in a body, on the earth with flesh and blood and bones in the man named Jesus,
0:41.5	that God would come close to us in human form so that we could be reconnected to him,
0:48.7	so that we could know him, so that we could understand what it is to be truly human,
0:53.6	and we could live, rejuvenated, alive existences as humans in bodies on the earth.
1:01.0	It blows my mind, and I really love thinking about Christmas through this lens of theology of the body,
1:05.5	because Christmas is clearly not about Santa or snowmen or presents.
1:10.3	It's about rethinking everything on the earth
1:15.2	through the lens of a God who put on a body, who put on flesh, who wrapped flesh around
1:21.7	his eternal godness so that he could image us, image to us what God is like, so that we could see what God
1:33.2	is like with our eyes and feel what God is like with our hands. And just like Thomas putting his
1:39.4	hands in the side of Jesus, the God would come that close that we could touch even his wounds
1:44.0	so that we could
1:45.1	know his deep love for us. He's such a good God. So today is a celebration. It's a thoughtful look
1:51.6	into the scriptures at this time of year where we so often think about baby Jesus and how sweet it is.
1:58.2	And I love thinking about baby Jesus because it's so profound the innocence and the humility
2:04.2	that our king brought on.
2:06.0	And I want to dive into that a little bit, but also look at a larger message that I hope
2:10.9	will feed your adoration of him this season, that I hope will even maybe start off your
2:16.0	new year with fresh vision for what it looks like to
