I appreciate you coming in today to be with me in this conversation.

You know as we've been saying through this series, we are a group of people who are seeking life,

or we are seeking a deeper life in God. We are seeking wholeness, restoration.

We're seeking all of the riches of the kingdom that we can possibly lay hold of on this side of things.

And Jesus warns us that there is a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, right?

He says that before he says, but I really do want life for you, right?

Right.

So what we're really trying to do in this series is actually just lift up Jesus Christ.

Lift up his work. Lift up and exalt all that he has done for us.

Let me read again from Colossians chapter two.

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ.

He forgave us all our sins. Having cancelled the charge of our debts which stood against us and condemned us, he's taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

And having disarmed the powers and authorities,

he made a public spectacle of them,

triumphing over them by the cross.

The victory of Jesus Christ does so many things.
