Proverbs chapter 5, verse 18,

Let your fountain be blessed and rejoice in the wife of your youth.

This is one of multiple proverbs here in the very beginning, especially of this book,

0:22.9

that warn against adultery or unfaithfulness in marriage. And specifically here in verse 15, God is giving us an

0:30.9

exhortation for husbands and wives to rejoice in one another. And remember the whole picture of marriage that God has

painted on the canvas of human history is a picture of his love for his church. That a husband's

marriages that they would be marked by joy, the kind of joy that Jesus has for his church and the church has for Jesus,

2:03.2

that that would be evident.

2:04.6

A husband's joy in his wife and a wife's joy in her husband, God, we pray for this kind of joy

2:12.8

in marriages.

2:14.8

We pray, God, for husbands who rejoice in their wives we just pray for any of us who are

2:22.5

husbands and for every husband who you're bringing to our mind right now to pray over
