| 0:05.0 | Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:09.0 | Let's call to mind all those we promised to pray for. |
| 0:13.7 | Now today we meditate on the last beatitude. |
| 0:19.5 | Blessed or rather happy are those who suffer for the sake of righteousness? |
| 0:25.0 | Well how could suffering make us happy? |
| 0:28.0 | Here are two good reasons. |
| 0:31.0 | First, suffering can be good for us because it can empty us of our pride, our |
| 0:39.1 | self-reliance, and our disordered loves, making room in our soul to be filled by God. |
| 0:46.0 | And suffering can increase our faith, hope, and love, which gives us a greater capacity to receive even more of God. |
| 0:57.0 | Secondly, our suffering can help others. |
| 1:01.0 | In fact, Jesus is inviting us to help him save souls by our |
| 1:06.9 | suffering. All we need to do is accept and to offer them up. |
| 1:13.6 | To accept and offer up what you did not choose, do not like, cannot change. |
| 1:21.3 | Don't waste your suffering. |
| 1:25.0 | Souls are depending on you. |
| 1:28.0 | Our Father who art in heaven, Hollow would be your name. |
| 1:30.0 | By kingdom come, by will be done on earth as it is in heaven. |
| 1:33.0 | Give us a day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us |
| 1:41.0 | and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen. |
