The United States. Well, who's glad you came to church today, anybody?

I know, me too.

And today we are in week number eight of a nine-part series on the beatitudes and I'll tell you more about

that in just a second but in two weeks. Everybody say two weeks. In two weeks we

have our annual at the movies series. If you're new to our church, this is where

we take movies that have redemption built

into the story, and we use it as a modern day parable. So I'll preach between the clips,

and it's probably the clearest gospel presentation that we do all year long. So if you know

someone who's far from God or somebody who's unchurched, this is the perfect series. Two weeks

from today, we'll begin at the movies, and you'll definitely want to have someone here. It's going to be spectacular.

Today we are in week number eight of the beatitudes next Sunday. I'll conclude the series and this

Wednesday we have our first Wednesday service with a very special guest speaker

named Pastor Chris Hodges everybody so I'll

be so I'll be preaching I'll be here Wednesday night but I do want to personally

invite you it's a little extended worship it's always a time of prayer and

communion and I have a word I want to share with you guys on Wednesday night it's

gonna be awesome awesome time together but today we've invited our friend our on our teaching

team here at Church the Highlands Charlotte Gamble to bring this week's

installment of the Beatitudes and we had her here all weekend for the women's

conference how many ladies y'all had a good time at the conference I've heard it

was our best one ever and we just want to thank Beth Cunningham our entire women's team, and of course Charlotte Gamble for her leadership in our church in the area of our women's ministry.
