This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus.

Take your Bibles to Matthew 5.

We're still in the beatitudes.

Aren't I doing well?

Going straight on through. Holy Spirit, speak as you always do.

In Jesus' name.

Amen. I've said this before, but I just want to build a quick foundation.

The Lord is known through his word.

In other words, when he speaks, it is an invitation into his nature and into his character.

So if I take issue with the scriptures, I take issue with his heart.

So there are many people who say, I love Jesus, but I don't like the Bible.

Well, you don't love Jesus.

Or you've got a different one that you constructed.

Because Jesus is true, say Jesus is true, because he is true, what he says he really means

and what he says comes from the heart. I've said this many times, but I don't think I can say it

too often. What he says flows from the heart.

So when he speaks, it's almost like catching a trail.

If you follow his word while in his presence, the destination is his heart.

That being said, the Bible says Jesus came from the bosom of the father.

That's pretty close.

That's amazing.

So Philip says, we want to see the father, and Jesus is like, do you don't get it still?
