0:15.6	Anyone watching any football over the last few days? Hello? Wow, it was a
0:22.3	marathon and we throw the World Cup in there. It was a lot. But an amazing week
0:26.8	and I was watching a game yesterday and at the very end as often will happen in a
0:32.2	really good game, the underdog team was driving in hopes of a Hail Mary. They
0:40.0	were all they needed to do is get to the 50 yard line, get to the 45 yard line and
0:44.4	then the quarterback can throw the ball to everybody. I know what a Hail Mary is by
0:48.4	the way. A few of you are looking at me like I was with you on football, you lost
0:52.4	me on the Hail Mary. So a Hail Mary is when the quarterback gets close enough, like
0:57.6	maybe midfield to throw it as far as they can on the last play of the game in
1:02.1	hopes that one of their receivers will come down in the end zone with the ball,
1:07.4	game winning touchdown, game tying touchdown. It's a Hail Mary. I remember the day
1:13.2	after Thanksgiving I think it was 1984. We were at some friends of ours. How it's not
1:17.7	far from here and there was a famous Hail Mary. Boston College was playing
1:22.2	Miami. Anybody see this game? Miami scored right at the end. There's a little bit
1:26.5	of time left. Doug Flutey gets the ball, chunks it from midfield. Boston College
1:32.0	comes down in the end zone. Even if you didn't care about the game, you thought it
1:36.6	was crazy. People were high five in each other. They didn't even care about Boston
1:40.5	College or Miami. That was the first time I remember the Hail Mary sort of making
1:45.1	a headline. But it came into the vernacular of sports really truthfully in 1975.
