I like to start with something funny. I heard about this man. He was on an overnight train.

He said to the conductor, I'm a very sound sleeper. Please wait me up in Philadelphia and

make sure I get off. I may be groggy. I may tell you no, but I have to get off. The

conductor said you have my word. I'll make it happen. The man woke up the next morning

in New York City. He had missed his stop. He was so upset he let the conductor have it.

A lady watching said, wow, that man was so angry. The conductor said, if you think he

was angry, you should have seen the man we put off in Philadelphia. Say it like you

mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do

what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the word of God. I'll boldly confess. My mind

is alert. My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus name. God bless you.

I want to talk to you today about blessing your enemies. It's easy to be good to people

that are being good to us. It doesn't take much faith to be kind, to show favor, to someone

that's kind to us. But what about when people do us wrong? They're talking bad about us.

They weren't honest in a business deal. They walked out of a relationship. The last

thing we think about is being good to them. They don't deserve it. But Jesus said, bless

those that curse you. Do good to those that hurt you. Pray for those that mistreat you.

One test we all have to pass is being good to people that have not been good to us. Everything

in you will say, hold a grudge. Talk about them. Look for ways to get even. But your

job is not to pay people back. Your job is to bless your enemies. You be the blesser
