Summary

“If something being said about you doesn’t hold up against the truth, it has to be dismissed.” - Mikki Taylor No matter who you are, you are going to have haters. The unfortunate truth is the more successful you become, the more there will be, and they louder they will become. So you have to be mentally prepared to deal with the noise as we talk about in the FIT pillar. One of the most important things you need to know is that you cannot let them distract you. You can’t let them take you off the path of your purpose, or make you doubt yourself. I’m sure we all heard from our mamas the cliche’ that “Baby, they’re just jealous.” There’s truth in that. Your prosperity brings light to the fact that they may actually be either doing something wrong or just unsatisfied with where they are in life. Instead of letting your haters bring you down, you can let their negative energy raise you up. Know that they are only there to test you and try to knock you off course, but if you keep your head up there’s a testimony in the end. With things like social media today, it’s harder to escape those haters. Know that you aren’t alone. We all have them, and if you haven’t encountered them yet, count your blessings. But know they will be coming, so be prepared. There isn’t a single successful person who didn’t have haters. The more important they were, the stronger their haters. Martin Luther King Jr., Susan B. Anthony, and even Jesus had more than their share of haters. They didn’t let their enemies hold them back. They only fueled their vision, and it’s important you learn from their lessons if you want to achieve greatness. On this episode of Redefining Wealth I break down how you can overcome the struggles that not only I have dealt with from enemies, but that I see happening around me every day. I made this episode to give you hope and help you see the light so you don’t get pulled down by their darkness. As Oprah says, “We must transcend darkness with our light.” Download this episode today to learn how to not only stay above those who want to keep you down, but also how to use them to elevate your purpose even further. “A life filled with silly social drama and gossip indicates that a person is disconnected from purpose and lacking meaningful goals.” - Brendon Burchard The Cliff Notes: As you create wealth and prosperity there will be haters - don’t give in to them. Your winning shows them the reality of what they are doing wrong. Blessing thy enemy is more for you than it is for them. A blessing is “a public declaration of a favored status.” When people are focused on their priorities they don’t have the time to be mean and nasty. Meditate daily on the truth of what is instead of the stories of what if. Don’t get caught up in petty gossip. You are who you are, don’t let your character shift because of who you are in conflict with. What you verbalize you magnify in your own light. Sometimes the battle is in your own mind. No one grows being stagnant, we grow in the face of adversity. You can’t fight darkness with darkness. You need mental clarity to achieve the wealth and prosperity you want. “Let your haters be your elevation.”
