Your words can bless others, but you have to actually open your mouth.

Don't just think it about your children, about your mate.

Say it.

You need to say it.

If there are things you appreciate that you admire and it crosses your mind,

I'm so glad my husband did whatever.

Say it to him. Speak the words. And could I say, say it now? Don't wait for the funeral.

All week long, we've been talking about overcoming the curse of words.

Now, Nancy, I've said some things to others that I've regretted.

Well, the same is true for me, Dana, for sure.

And I know we've all said words that at times we wish we wouldn't have said.

Like, why did I say that?

Why did that come out?

And it's, you know,

a picture like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. It's really hard, and actually it's impossible

to get all that toothpaste back inside. Exactly. It doesn't take much for us to speak our thoughts.

But once those words come out of our mouths, it's too late to take them back.

Just like we can't put squeezed out toothpaste back in its tube.
