Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits and then the Psalm just goes on to describe

different benefits of God toward his people toward toward each of us. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, individually forget not all His benefits.

And the list just goes on and on who forgives all your inequity.

That's a benefit.

Heels all your diseases.

Ultimately, disease in our lives will not have the last word for all who trust in God in Jesus.

He redeems your life from the pit.

He crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.

He satisfies you with good. He renews your youth like the

Eagles. These are all benefits that flow from God. He works righteousness and

justice for those who are oppressed. He's merciful, he's gracious, he's

slow to anger, he's abounding in steadfast love. What a benefit to know this

God. He does not deal with us according to our sins,

nor repay us according to our iniquities.

As high as the heavens are above the earth,

as so great as his steadfast love toward those who fear him. He removes our transgressions from us as far as the

East is from the West. Like a father showing compassion to his children, the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.
