At least 95 people were killed by two explosions in Iran during a ceremony to commemorate the death of Kasam Salimani, an Iranian general

who was assassinated by an American drone strike in 2020.

The cause of the blasts which took place in the southern city of

Karman is currently unknown, but the city's deputy governor described them as

a terrorist attack.

Donald Trump asked America's Supreme Court to overturn the decision by Colorado's top court

to remove him from the state's presidential primary ballot and in effect

settle the question of his eligibility to hold office. Similar cases arguing that

Mr Trump is an insurrectionist and disqualified to be president under the 14th amendment are pending across the country.

The UN Peacekeeping force in Lebanon said it is deeply concerned over a potential escalation of violence in the region.

After a senior Hamas official was killed by a drone strike in Beirut.

Lebanon's state media said the attack was on a Hamas office

in an area of Lebanon's capital controlled by Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed militia

and that Israel was responsible. Israel has not confirmed its involvement.

A court in Argentina suspended some of the reforms pushed through by Harvey and Milay's government dealing a blow to the new Libertarian President.
