Happy Friday to you. I'm Derek Hunter. This is the

Darek Hunter podcast, and I'm now the father of an eight-year-old. Good Lord, time flies, although

it, yeah, not that fast. If you really savor it, you can kind of catch it at speed. Can't slow it down,

but you can pay attention to it.

Time never passes more slowly than when you are painfully conscious of it.

So you try to find a way to just really notice the time and savor it.

But yes, we had a successful birthday party for Quinn.

I don't know, like 15 kids running around.

And I don't know if you know this or not, but if you get 15 girls together, they scream loudly for no reason whatsoever.

A lot. A lot.

There was a, not a pillow fight, not a stuffed animal fight. It's these squishy, like, I don't know how to describe them other than squishy. These squishy things. They look like stuffed animals, but they're like a rubber foam almost marshmallow thing, but they're not edible.

There's a big fight of them, throwing them at each other.

I don't claim to know what's going on.

And then two boys who are here, apparently we're throwing really hard.

And it's just like those pork boys were just out screamed.

Just I can only imagine the nightmare they're going
