I'd like to talk about some of these students who have inhabited encampments in places like

Columbia and Harvard students that faced or seem to face fairly severe administrative

penalties. In other words, suspension, you can't graduate in the case of a couple of Harvard

students you are going to lose your road scholarship.

Now, these would be genuine penalties.

Now, they would be fairly modest as penalties go,

because after all, if you're a kid at one of these elite universities and you're suspended,

well you can transfer somewhere else.

You don't graduate.

Well you can still graduate later.

You lose your road scholarship. Well well you're obviously a very good student

and there are going to be other educational opportunities. It's not the end of the world. But still,

the students act as though it is, and they convince left-wing faculty to then go scream at the administration and demand that these students get no penalty or a very light penalty, essentially a cancellation of any accountability.
