previewing the Big Ten championship game. Who would have thought Michigan back here for two years in a row,

second time ever, Purdue making their first appearance in the game. We are going to preview that.

We'll talk about the ins and outs outs but we have to start with some news

of the day and we're recording a little bit later on in the afternoon one piece of news

uh that was at least reported uh this afternoon after our normal time of recording comes out

so it kind of works out a little bit guys but let's start with start with Blake Corum, who, you know, nothing super unexpected there. Obviously didn't expect him to play

this weekend. Now you're seeing reports from really NFL circles, started with Ian Rappaport of

NFL Network, Bruce Feldman of the Athletic, who's college football insider, that he will undergo

surgery and that he will miss the

remainder of the season.

Potential, Anthony, you tweeted this, that, you know, great reporting of that there's

39 days to the national championship game.

That's a long time, depending on how major this injury was.

So, yeah, that news kind of getting out there this afternoon.

Yeah, and part one should come as no surprise to our listeners. That's always been the plan.

You know what? It was kind of a pain management thing, and he got advice from a doctor that, hey,

he could play on it with a brace as long as if there was pain, then he needed to shut it down.

Guess what?

There was pain after two carries, which most of us figured there would be.

So that would probably back up the no major structural damage claim, right?

Because you're going to be out there playing on a torn MCL or a torn ACL.
