The defining day of Blake's life was the day his mom gave him a letter from his father on a family vacation together in Hawaii.  Earlier that day, tragedy struck when he and his father were swimming and his father drowned. Hours later, he was reading his fathers' words in a beautifully crafted letter which he was planning to give his son on the trip; Blake went on to use this letter as his North Star.

Blake is a loving husband and father of his three children, all under 8.  As he leads his family, he draws from many mentors, none more important than his late father, Larry. He turned personal tragedy into purpose.  And his mission is to help 1 million parents write at least 1 well written, meaningful, lasting Legacy Letter
