Tonight, Jim and I saw Blade Runner 2049. Sure did. on a our relationship to the original material. Okay.

What do you think of Blade Runner?

Uh, I think Blade Runner is a good movie.

Yeah.

When's the last time you saw Blade Runner?

A few years ago.

I've only seen it like twice.

Yeah, this is only like their third or fourth time I've seen it and it's been five, six years since I saw it. And Blade Runner is a just just so you know where I'm from.

Uh, Blade Runner is a movie I admire and respect more than I enjoy watching.

Okay.

Oh boy, this is a great way to start a movie cast. I just want people to know.

It's not a button. Like I said, the things that I like about it are it's like world and its style. The things I don't like about it, and it feels dated but not in like a science fiction effects kind of way.

It feels dated and it's like pacing and mechanics okay you know and I

watch both versions of this week I watch the original version that has Harrison

Ford's narration which I thought was really weird for five minutes but then I just kind of it I accepted it and then I

watch the director's cut that doesn't have the narration where Scott really puts his thumb on the side of

Decard being a replicant which I also don't I mean maybe that's one of the reasons that

I don't enjoy that because I I think that Decard being a replicant takes away a lot from the story.

So having said that I like this movie a heck of a lot more than the original Blade Runner.

I actually, I enjoyed watching it.

I thought it was absorbing, even though it maintains the kind of stately pace of the original Blade Runner.
