And this was a game that this team was not ready to play. There's really no other way to put it.

You give up a goal, what, 40-some seconds into the game, 47 seconds into the game,

a miscommunication between Artem Lefshnov and Spencer Knight.

Both guys look at each other like, yeah, not a good sign.

And then about a minute and a half later, not even, it's two nothing.

And from there, you're chasing the game, chasing the game, chasing the game.

Yeah.

And the Flyers were able to sort of sit back and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and rope it'll be you, you had, you made a little bit of noise in the second period where kind of Bard scores his 30th goal of the year, makes it 3.1. And then immediately after a minute, 30 seconds later it's 4-1 and that's the game yeah uh the start

of the game um just really bad communication bad plays um yeah i i really don't know what the

issue would have been on the first goal because the puck's coming behind the net

and Spencer Knight goes to play it and he's usually a pretty good handler of the puck.

Right. And Lefshnoy was in front of him.

Lefshnov, well, Lefshnov was coming around from the front of the net and was like to Knight's backhand, which it looked like Knight was trying to give it to him. But he must, my guess is Lefshanov probably said like, you're good. And so he just left kind of like soft dropped it when really he needed to play it harder. It's funny. Because to me it looked like he was he was going to ring it around the boards hard. I thought he was going to. Yeah. So if we saw the same play a different way, those two saw it a different way. Yeah. Those things happen in the course of the game. It sucks. It happens that early in the game. The other thing we should mention too is louis crevier late in the game

got a skate to the eye you saw jeff flash on michael pecca talking on the bench and pecka

sort of indicated you know pointing to underneath his eye uh so hopefully uh dodged a bullet there

because we thought for a second it was the neck at first replay it looked like the skate hit

the neck and it didn't right up in the mouth fortunately it did not get him right right under the eye
