Hawks lose 4-3 to the Minnesota Wild in overtime, but there's a lot of good to take away from this one.

And we've seen a bunch of these this year. But this one really. I mean, the first period, I think the Hawks did not get the memo that the game was at 630. They were getting her socks on. They're getting, you know, put it on her breezers. Like, all right, let's go. Like, what? Wait, what? Oh, we're not ready yet. And the wild just took it to them for 20 minutes. It was, it was bad. Outshot 15 to 7, 16 to 7. I think they probably shorted the wild three or four shots in the first period. We were talking about it. Like, don't they have way more than two shots at this point or whatever it was? They had zero on the board at one point. Yeah. And they had at least five. Yeah. And then the Hawks 7 feels a little bit generous for the first.

But then second period, they start to figure it out.

They get on the board.

And then third period, they really took it to them out.

They outshot them seven to six, but really felt like the whole period, the Hawks had the puck.

If I have a general complaint about this one one it's that the team that they were playing against was playing the style that we have begged the hawks to play

all year when an opportunity presents itself take the opportunity and put the puck on net

and we saw too many times where the Hawks had the puck

and had control,

they would cycle, cycle, cycle, cycle, cycle, cycle, cycle,

and then turn it over.

Right?
