The

soon-to-be attorney general is giving his opening statement before he gets grilled

by a bunch of people and then everybody assumes confirmed as the attorney general of the

United States of America.

Oh, I think you're taking a leap a bit too soon there, Jack, because he wrote to that

memo.

An unsolicited memo a few months back, critical of the Mueller investigation did Mr.

Bar, William Bar, former attorney general under George H. W. Bush 1992 to 1994, I think.

Wasn't?

Yeah, something like that.

Anyway, and there's a great deal of posturing going on that that was clearly an indication

that he will shut down the Mueller investigation.

We should all be afraid for our lives, even though Bar himself has said repeatedly, oh,

no, no, no, you got to let it finish and give him plenty of room and plenty of time.

So it is an utterly answered question.

It is settled law, as we say.

And yet there will be a great deal of Kabuki theater and phony shouting over this nomination

for the next, I don't know, 24 hours.

How long are they going to drag this out?

You know, day two.
