You know, Rob, a while ago, there was a report,

I think I was still at AMC, to be honest with you,

when the first reports came out about,

I think it was Amy Schumer was gonna do a Barbie movie.

And while some people kind of rolled their eyes at that,

I love the concept they were putting out there

because it was gonna be about body image

and the way all that kind of stuff and that,

you know, she obviously did not fit the model

of what Barbie was and I actually thought

that sounded kind of interesting.

But then that fell apart and then sometime later,

word came out that Margot Robbie was gonna be doing

a Barbie movie, which is, let's face it,

far more stereotypical, but hey, no one's complaining.

Now, it was also announced a while ago

that Academy nominated filmmaker Greta Gerwig.

I believe she's one of only seven women in history

who've been nominated for best director

at the Academy Awards.

That her last two films, Lady Bird and Little Women,

have a combined 11 Academy Award nominations at any rate.
