Welcome to Watch Diary. I'm Ryan Snelling. Glad to be here. Almost forgot how to podcast

there for a minute. Opening a Coke Zero there. Classic staple podcast staple for me. I'm

excited to be here. Had to sit down and record a podcast before I take my trip back home

to Frankfurt, Kentucky. That's right. Right now it is Monday, July 19th on Wednesday. I go back

home for a week-long trip and I'm really excited. Not doing anything too tremendously special

while I'm there. I think I'm just kind of doing things that are long overdue because of COVID.

And it's going to be nice. It's going to be fun. Just to hang out and see friends and family.

My first day there, my first full day there, I'm going to get to see my niece and my nephews

whom I have not seen since September of 2019. Almost two years, almost two complete years

are missing basically from my relationship with my nephews and my niece. And it's super sad. I'm

going to make it even more sad because my nephew, my youngest nephew, Jaden, I mean, he was

barely conscious when I left. That's not true. He was born in January of 19. And he was a baby.

I wasn't around him enough to wear, like he, I wasn't around him enough to where he even

really built a solid relationship with me. You know, but my sister is like very like, I don't know,

her kids don't really get out that much when they're super young. They're kind of tied to her waste.

And so I didn't really get to spend a whole lot of time with her before I left. And I just kind

of left at a time when his memory was starting to develop. And I guess it's just been developing

without me. I have no idea if he knows who I am. So I'm going to go meet my nephew for the second

time. I am super close. I should say I was super close to my other nephew and my niece,

Amelia. She was my buddy. And so I'm excited. I didn't get to see them when I went back home in

November. I wasn't allowed to because of COVID. But I don't have to worry about that now because I'm

vaccinated. So I get to see them. And I'm very excited. Get to see my Nana and gonna have a nice
