And today we're discussing Black Phone 2 from 2025, directed by Scott Derrickson,

written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, based on characters created by Joe Hill,

whose short story was adapted as the first Black Phone film, starring Mason

Tames, Madeline McGraw, Ethan Hawke, Damian Bashir, and Jeremy Davies. In this sequel to the

Black Phone, as siblings Finney and Gwen try to move on from the traumatic events of the first film,

they are pulled back into their past as Gwen's dreams lead them to the site of the grabbers first murders.

If you're new to the show, we are going to discuss this movie spoiler-free for the first 15 or 20,

but after that we're going to play some transition music and do a plot walk through that will be spoilerific.

And we'll review the film as we go through the plot, spoiling everything as we go.
