This episode was made to demonstrate the importance of listening to a voice that has been suppressed for far too long. We hope that through our open conversation we can encourage open ears, minds, and hearts, and ultimately work toward achieving a long-lost sense of empathy. Only through empathy will we achieve true cultural change and reach a deeper understanding of the daily suffering, discrimination, and socioeconomic disadvantage the black community faces daily. 0:00.0	Hello everyone and welcome back to Deeper with the Dolan twins. Today we would like to have
0:20.5	an open and serious discussion with all of you about everything that has been going
0:25.0	on in our world lately. Yeah. When we say our world we mean including everybody listening,
0:32.3	not just mind ingressions. There's a lot of terrible stuff going on in this world. A lot of
0:41.5	terrible stuff that has been going on in this world that people have been turning a blind eye to
0:48.3	for far too long now. I now realize more than ever how important it is and the change that
0:57.8	can actually be made if we all come together to combat these terrible things that are going on
1:05.2	in this world. I want to start off by saying Grayson, Ryan and I were all white guys.
1:12.5	So we will never ever be able to fully understand what exactly people have called our
1:23.1	dealing with in this world and have been dealing with for far too long now. We've been doing
1:29.8	the best that we can to understand and the best that we can to really open our minds into learn.
1:36.6	Yeah. To set any ego aside that may have been instilled in us from a young age without us realizing.
1:46.0	Now is the time and I've realized that all of that needs to go and now is the time that
1:53.2	us as white people need to be educated. To learn and to understand what Black people in our country
2:03.6	and our world are dealing with and going through every single day. So with that being said,
2:13.4	this podcast for us is going to be more about listening than speaking because we really
2:23.5	right now understand the value of learning. Learning is a thing that is going to make the change.
2:30.0	A big piece of it. The will to listen is going to be the thing that will help us all take a step
2:39.3	in the right direction for this world, for everybody in this world. I realize that I care about people
2:49.7	so much and that the best thing I can do is listen to them. It is so important for us to speak up
2:56.4	but in order for us to know what to say, what is going to be effective and what is going to make
3:01.2	this change, we have to listen first or simultaneously. We need to be educated. And first off,
