Today I'm continuing interviewing David Barton and Tim Barton and

we've been talking about heroes, black heroes in American history.

Most people haven't heard these things.

I never have.

Gospel truth. Am I correct in saying that Douglas at one time believed that all

the founding fathers were prejudiced and as he studied

their things he was completely converted by reading their own writings.

He was taught that the Constitution as a slave document the slaves were only worth three-fifths of a person in the Constitution.

He was taught all the bad stuff and he believed that.
