Well, I'm back.

Last week, we're going to talk about that.

I just couldn't pull it together.

Just couldn't and decided not to.

That is the first Thursday that I have not done a podcast since February 27th.

Right before we shut down, through the summer of uprising and racial reckoning, through

this crazy political climate, through, gosh, there's been so much every week feels like

a month's worth of news.

Last week, I sat down at my desk.

I was all prepared to tape an episode and I just couldn't.

I've talked about this before.

When I just get really overwhelmed, I'll just put my forehead down on the desk and deep

breathe.

And usually that's very calming and I can center myself and bring myself back to a place

where I can push through.

But I just realized I do a lot of pushing through.

I do a lot when I'm really, really tired.
