Yeah, let's, so we've touched on a little bit already, but obviously, like we said, this is a remake of the 1974 original, which many people hailed as being sort of Halloween before it was Halloween. I've read a lot of takes where they feel like Halloween ripped off

black Christmas, just the idea of a cipher of a killer who's mysterious and ominous. We never

find out who it is. The point of view shots, all that.

I do think there's some stylistic similarities.

I do not by any means think Halloween

is a rip off of Black Christmas,

and I can also see why Halloween got famous quick.

But I feel like the original black Christmas was not

seen in the same league as Halloween and the Exorcist and some of these 70s

iconic horror movies until I don't know maybe the past 10 15 years.

So like growing up it was more of a

to me it seemed like a cult movie almost.

It was hard to find like it wasn't available readily on home video because I did not see the original

Tao is about 20 or 21 so that's about 2000 and 2001 and it was simply because the

Hollywood video by my house happened to have it on the shelf and me and the young lady I was hanging out

rented it and both like immediately fell for it and we're disappointed that it
