It was a crazy day, a lot of weirdness is the way I would put it Bruce and I want to start

with perhaps the weirdest moment of all and a game that probably almost nobody was watching

at the time but on ACC Network in Primetime Miami, Georgia Tech, Georgia Tech keep in

mind got whooped last week by Bowling Green and yet this game goes down to the wire but

Miami is in position to win, they are up 20 to 17 and all they have to do is take a

penny and the clock will run out and what happened next is one of the biggest coaching

fiascoes I've ever seen, instead they hand off to dodging junior heat fumbles, Georgia

Tech recovers and then Georgia Tech turns into, I don't know, Haines King turns into

Caleb Williams and they go 76 yards in 26 seconds and win the game and we're all just

left dumbfounded at what happened and also like how much, you know, Mario Cristobal has

not quite, had not quite won over the Miami fan base yet and now when something like

this happens, I feel like everybody jumps off the band like, yeah look there's no other

way to say it is an inexcusable coaching decision to do that in that scenario where all you

have to do is kneel on the ball twice and the game is over and these staffs, not just

Miami but almost all these college football staffs are so bloated to the point where you

have people who can talk somebody off the ledge, point out the obvious in the moment because

that's their job of game management situations and it's not the first time like it's well

been well documented, Mario had a similar brain cramped situation when he was at Oregon

involving the Stanford game. In this case, it's interesting because I remember a bunch

of coaches have had, I don't want to say similar but they've had stuff which is like what
