We lived in the middle of nowhere in a house in the middle of the woods.

He turned up out of the blue coming from Zambia

and implied that he would make sure that I'd be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life

and that he's going to put a contract on me if I didn't hand over 50% of the farm.

Wow.

And I got another call that I've been warned my kids are being watched welcome everybody

there is so much headiness and grim news around and the whole point this podcast is

to stir faith is to share stories from different mates of mine, from all sorts of different

walks.

People have been through some challenging stuff.

They take some knocks in life as we all do.

And yet are still in the fight, still journeying on and seeing God at work in their lives.

Now, I have zero doubt that you're going to be blown away and inspired by this week because

it's a podcast I've been looking forward to do for ages. And it's just been a question of finding the right timing. It's with a friend of my, I guess we'd probably go back about seven years, Martin, which you reckon? I think, yeah, it's about seven or eight years. So welcome everybody to Martin Zuck. Martin, I mean, it's interesting as a way of introduction. I think I'd

say that basically for a lot of those seven years of me knowing Martin, he was largely pretty

depressed. He had major financial issues. He had gone through a really difficult divorce,

struggling to pay school fees for kids coming out of that.

He has an extraordinary story out of, I think, at his peak making a sort of a million

quid a month as a hedge fund manager and then largely losing all of that and, you know,

challenges with, with drink.

I mean, there's just, there's a lot to unpack.
