Summary

A day after having peaceful protesters tear-gassed so he could have a photo-op in front of St. John’s Church, President Trump, along with First Lady Melania Trump, visited the John Paul II National Shrine in Washington. The bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, Mariann Edgar Budde, was outraged when she saw the President hold a bible in front of St. John’s Church. She tells Anderson Cooper that the President’s photo-op and visit to the shrine didn’t seem to be “an expression of faith or of solidarity with faith.” Plus, radio personality Charlamagne tha God joins AC360 to discuss how the protests could impact the 2020 presidential  race and what he thinks Biden needs to do to win.  Airdate: June 2, 2020 To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
