Summary

In this episode, I sit down with Bishop Lamont for a deep, unfiltered conversation about the reality of the music business and the forces operating behind the scenes. Bishop opens up about his experience being signed to Dr. Dre, the highs and lows of navigating an industry filled with politics, agendas, and fake relationships. We dive into how music and media are used to shape culture and influence the minds of the masses — from industry pressure to the idea of psychological programming and MK-Ultra. Bishop also breaks down his new album “Just Don’t Die”, his journey of staying authentic in a business that often rewards conformity, and why he continues to push forward despite the obstacles. This is a raw, thought-provoking discussion about art, power, influence, and survival in an industry built on illusion. 🔥 Get Bishop Lamont’s new album “Just Don’t Die” at: www.therevindicated.com

So we go kick this off, man, a little different. You know, we had two. I like having extremes on the show. I don't like doing the same thing every episode. You know, we had an experience last week with my guy, you know, C-Mack, you know, Chris Mac, man. Love Cretnack. You know, he's going viral right now. man, he's just a different person, man.

0:57.2

And this week, man, we don't stop.

0:54.9

Now, I got my boy Bishop. Love Crick Mac. You know, he's going viral right now, man. He's just a different person, man.

1:10.9

And this week, man, we don't stop. Now, I got my boy Bishop Lamont House, man, homie Glick. I want to start off with Glick's, man. What is you doing, man? Like, what is that call that you do, man, with the graphics and everything? Because that's not AI. No. I think that would be an insult to call I appreciate that you're doing

1:12.3

It's an art man

1:13.3

I know when I first saw it I told bitch thing because that's not AI. No. I think that would be an insult to call.

1:30.6

Oh, I appreciate that. It's an art, man. I know when I first saw it, I told a bishop, I said, man, you're going to have to share homie, man. You go ahead to share a homie. I appreciate that. I really do. It's interesting, you know, being able to tap into traditional artwork and have it be seen and and can see the difference now, you know, comparison to, you know, people use AI and power to them. You know, if it helps you to get to where your vision's at, it's a tool. It's a tool. It's a wonderful tool. It's a wonderful tool. It's absolutely helping out people. And when it comes to my style, coming in with traditional style of artwork, whether it be using with Photoshop, Illustrator, or going into, you know, realms of Final Cut Pro and Unreal Engine, it's to mix it all around. And I'm glad it's able to see the difference. You could actually feel it's a little bit more cinematic. And that's because each little detail has been highlighted, whether it be lighting or VFX, you know, the editing on timing. So that's mostly like every time there's the goal for, especially with bishops, you know, is to match up the velocity of his music and make sure the imagery is. Yeah, and I want to go into that man, if that's going to take us in the man, please don't die. Am I seen it right? Just don't die. Just don't die. But please don't die too. Just don't die. yourself, care about yourself. Please don't die before it's your time. But just don't die. Just don't die. But please don't die too. Just don't die. Care about yourself.

2:18.3

Please don't die before it's your time. But just don't die. You know, the imagery, man, that you have on Just Don't Die. And it's like, I like real dark stuff, you know? On the crowd. And it's like, you know, you're seeing it on there where you in there fighting zombies, man. you shooting zombies and you have all these other little external things going on because I'm really in the visualist. I'm like just seeing stuff and you, there's stuff that's in the background, they should look at us and say, damn, man, what is that back there? You know what I mean? And that's the fun part because that's why it's so great for us because we're nerds about this stuff and we're

2:52.3

obsessed with it and we love it and like we're talking about off before we started to interview

2:56.7

science fiction aliens the paranormal you know supernatural we love stuff like that so when it comes

3:04.3

to creating these visuals we want to stimulate people and put little

3:07.6

Easter eggs and stuff in the backgrounds and just stuff for them to lock in on. Like, you remember

3:12.0

that movie, Silent Hill? Yeah. So that's a great inspiration for me. Like, Jorge Romero,

3:17.8

you can keep going through people that we love, but like creating stuff like that is so much fun

3:22.4

because it gives people more things to look at, even if the sound is down. So then when you really get into the world of the mini movie that we're making, because all we're really doing, when I saw Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, that changed my life, and it continues to change my life. When I saw Snoop's murder was the case, and that mini movie, fucking incredible incredible so it's kind of a fusion of that

3:42.6

just to say as a template of what we're creating and then put the supernatural around there

3:46.8

because it's multi-layered and then it reflects society because there's things that we see

3:50.9

and there's things that we don't see there is real warfare there's spiritual warfare there's

3:55.7

psychological warfare like we're talking about mk ultra we're talking about mens warfare. Like we're talking about MK. Ultra. We're talking about
