To be southern honey, it means I'm very proud.

Honey, I do not conform.

I no longer cover my accent.

I just feel like there's something in the water.

There's something that happens down here that's just different than anywhere else. It sounds and feels different. It smells different. The food, the culture. Just

leading with politeness, I appreciate. To me, to be Southern means knowing who you are,

knowing where you place your values. And to me, being Southern is always with family, surrounded by a delicious meal

that you may or may not have made from scratch, and it doesn't even matter.
