and here is a Scary Story.

Birthday girl.

There was very tough to hide things from Annie. When she was even younger at the age of

four I think it started, she would roam around the house the night before Christmas and

search of presents. I used to help her write out the list for Santa Claus but somehow she

just knew that her present would be somewhere in the house the night before. She found

one of her toy car sets that she wanted and how she managed to get it was beyond me.

Though the more I circle the patterns in my head the more I believe that something else

was going on. There was no way she could reach the cabinets above the refrigerator by herself,

especially at that age when she needed help to throw her plastic cups into the kitchen sink

and reach the toilet. But Annie somehow managed to find a way to do seemingly

impossible things. When she was around five years old I found her sitting on the couch

with the television on, chewing on a green apple. Now this might be a typical thing for children,

but what she was watching was age and appropriate and she went into a rage crying when I

changed the channel. The far stranger part however was that the apple she was eating had been

directly sliced in half with a knife. I hadn't done that and there was nobody else who

lived with us who could do that. Annie didn't even like using sporks at the time.

When I picked up the other half from the table she completely changed throwing her arms

out in the air and then falling to the floor completely lost an anger. Whenever I asked

her things about the apple, about the light switches she somehow managed to reach or about
