As far as my internal dialogue, I just kept telling myself, like, you were built for this.

You can do this. You've done harder things before, you know, things that weren't expected.

This is expected. This is planned. So just like affirming myself, like, this was something we wanted

and we planned for this. We got this. I told myself and I told God, you know, like, I'm so

grateful that I can give birth and that I'm

blessed with this baby. So just a lot of gratitude, right? Just a dialogue of dialogue. Like,

just being so grateful. Getting pregnant and giving birth are two of the most exciting things you can

ever hope to experience in this life.

Welcome back to the podcast, you guys. Today I have with me, Lisette, and you guys, we have another birth story coming at you. So, Lisette, will you take a moment and introduce yourself

and tell us a little bit about your family? Absolutely. So I am Lisette. I am a speech pathologist

by trade. I work with pediatrics. Since I had my son, I've transitioned into a full-time mom, which is so exciting that I'm able to do that. I am married to a wonderful husband named Doug. He's a technical account manager. So he works hard for his family to provide, and we have a beautiful

son and dogs as well in the background. I'm not sure if that's going to go through, but yeah,

we're happy here in Arizona. Oh, awesome. So you're nice and warm too. Are you northern Arizona?
