Welcome back to another episode of The Damage Report. I am John at Aurela. Thank you for joining us

once again for what is going to be an absolutely gigantic show. We've got a couple of huge

pieces of news that we're going to break down. We're also going to be joined by a pair of candidates.

We are in, of course, the very last days, I think at some point we're going to have the little

counter. We have only days to go until this midterm election. There are so many candidates that

you need to know about. We're going to be profiling more and more of them throughout this week.

On today's show, we have George Hannah, who's running in Kansas's House District 47s at state

legislature. And in Kansas, where Chris Kobach, of course, is the Secretary of State. We know that

he is someone who can't be trusted when it comes to voter access, things like that. And in

George Hannah's race, that has actually become an issue. So we're going to be breaking that down

and the stakes in what is looking like a very close race. Later on, the show, Janine Lee Lake,

who's running in the six-district, congressional district in Indiana, actually running against

Mike Pence's older brother. So that is going to be very fun. She looks like an awesome progressive

pushing for Medicare for all, all those sorts of issues. So we're going to be profiling her as well.

At the end of the show, we're going to be taking a tour of news from around the globe. And I don't

think that I'm overhyping this by saying that one of the stories, the pieces of news that we're

going to talk about in that last segment is, I think, objectively, the most important news story
